David Cross was so right at the end— HOW ON EARTH did this show not get picked up? It’s the most cleverly-written show I’ve ever seen…. can’t wait for the movie though

not to be a troll, but can someone explain to me how this show is so ’smart’?
I hear people say it all the time, but i guess i just dont get it. i jumped late on the bandwagon and started watching this show on the internet because i heard it was one of the best shows ever (and because of jason, michael, and portia). even though i watched two seasons of what the website had, i found it to be quite boring. but i find jason bateman and michael cera hilarious.

if you find only Jason Bateman and Michael Cera funny, then yes you have missed the show completely and you will never get it sorry.

It wasn’t marketed very well, and if you come to think about it, it actually must have been pretty hard to advertise this show. It was a can’t-miss show and you needed to watch every episode to get the jokes. I loved this show, but I can understand why it didn’t get many ratings.

whatre you talking about? i never said i only find them funny, i just know from interviews that they are funny.. thats why i had any sort of interest. i find jasons character NOT funny, but in real life, he is funny. get it?

I just discovered this show recently (I know, better late than never though) and watched all three seasons in one DAY. I absolutely adore it and am crushed that it’s forever canceled?! Is there any possibility of Arrested Development coming back?
I heard perhaps there will be an Arrested Development movie?

Apparently the creator is still working on the script. And then there’s the problem of getting everyone on the same schedule since this show launched a lot of big things for many of the stars. But according to Will Arnett and Michael Cera, it’s happening.
