Well, i got to say, that if this is a genuine blooper, Jeff needs to fix his puppets. Pretty much the exact same thing happened to his Melvin puppet during a TV show. It’s hair flew off during the act. Great he can improv out of it, but a wee bit shoddy if it keeps happening.

If you look on YT, there’s a vid, (at the time of typing this comment), of JD as he makes/creates Melvin from scratch; he says as he’s making the new puppet 3mths before a gig in Washington DC that he intends to use the fibre glass hairpiece to falloff during an act. It’s not a blooper, but it is good fun to watch nonetheless.
