@frenchyb2009 When you work on a show you want to get the funny moments to come as quickly as possible, for the audience, its less expensive. After 9 seasons of dealing with Julia Louis-Dreyfus breaking I’d get annoyed too. All he’s doing is staying away from laughing too much, which as an actor, you’re supposed to do. I love this show, but you have to look at it from where they are coming from.

@frenchyb2009 yea ive noticed that too. i think he just gets really into it. he gets really into character and hates to break the flow.

Once the acedemy gives an Emmy to someone, they keep giving it to him every season. That’s why Michael and David Hyde Piece from Frasier got so many, while Jason got none — not because they’re better, but because they were the favorites — you had to pick them. The emmy award system is broken, just a dumb circle-jerk. Getting nominated is the highest honor– winning doesn’t mean you’re better, just selected to be first among equals.

Eeeeeasy there. You weren’t on the set, you never saw what was going on, all you can judge from is a few, select blooper scenes. So don’t go wasting precious oxygen by hating needlessly. Or maybe you’re just pissed from the way he handled that particular stand up show, and you’re looking for wood to fuel your hate.

To Frenchy: It’s called being in character. If you see any behind the scenes footage you see him pacing back and forth or secluding himself from everyone else so he can get in the zone and be in character. I’d be pissed if I tried that hard to get into character and then end out of character because someone messed up. A lot of actors get upset like that, it just so happens that Jerry, Jason and Julia do not.

Michael Richards pisses me off! If you look at a lot of the bloopers he gets really pissed like he is some sort of a king or some shit! He never genuinely laughs if someone else stumbles on their lines-but he gets pissed off at ANYONE who laughs, I’m over him!

She’s easily my favorite character on the show. She adds so much.
BY JaminKoehn on April 9th, 2010 at 6:01 am
The scene isn’t ruined if they do another take. Besides, bloopers are often the better than the scenes that made the cut.

Louis-Dreyfus deliveries are comedic genius..very funny. She was terrific up against Jerry. The whole cast was outrageous. I love the reruns. They are my M*A*S*H.
