This is the Star Trek XI gag reel from the bluray DVD. Laughter, bleeped expletives, dancing, and other hi-jinks make this five-minute blooper compilation seem like it finishes in only half the time. ”Its a good thing I’m drunk.”, says John Cho in one scene. In another scene where Spock is preparing to fly the Jellyfish spacecraft for the first time, Kirk and Spock speak their lines in faux Irish/German accents, trying but failing to keep straight faces. Even the kids get in on the act. ”Citizen, what is your name?”, asks an officer pulling over a young Jim Kirk back in Iowa. ”Bryan Burk. Whats yours?” says the kid without cracking a smile.

I saw this movie and think it was no less impressive than Avatar – great acting, directing, magnificent visual effects.
Chris Pine, Winona Ryder, Eric Bana and Jennifer Morrison did a brilliant job!!!

Even thought it would seem ridiculous, it will look awesome! I know that must be the quote on all sci-fi film sets….

4:46 to 5:46 is my favorite. Hilarious.
It looks like that was a really fun movie to make with all the cast and crew. They seem like a lot of great people.

I AM a fan of Leonard Nimoy
BY OrionsMoonmaiden on April 8th, 2010 at 2:01 am
Of course. Never been a fan of Nimoy, but noone got the right to judge, exspecially not actors most of us have never met in person. Far too many people jump to conclusion about stars. But I think it’s just as wrong to idealize them. Not saying that YOU do, but many do, and sometimes I’m just tired of hearing good old spocky-woly Leonard was beyond right or wrong, good or bad. Just as you say, he is human (not Vulcan, remember, those ears are STILL fake, LOL) and therefor cannot be a saint.
BY AnnabethChase123 on April 8th, 2010 at 2:56 am
Well he’s only human. I got so pissed one time, I threw an apple core at a guy’s head over an i-pod.
BY OrionsMoonmaiden on April 8th, 2010 at 3:21 am
I do not think that is so very rare. Nimoy may seem a nice gentleman, but I always felt he could get rather unpleasant when things do not work the way he wants. Have you watched “Mind Meld”? Nimoy there is talking about his very acute rage attacks he even needed to therapy, after he tried to daze himself with great amounts of booze to suppress them.

Eric Bana really lost his nerves and made Bruce Greenwood suffer. His fellow tormentors just seem to think: “Get it done, man, so that we can QUIT!” Bruce Greenwood is a tough one. Could hardly move, mouth forced open roughly, had to swallow that little monster over and over and still managed to keep cool, patient and in good humor. Shows who has the guts. Had the hardest part of them, but anybody ELSE was shaking in their boots. Of course nobody is talking about that … Glad they showed it!
